saltine crackers 1 C butter, melted 1 C brown sugar 1 pkg choc. chips | GREASE a 9 ½ X 11 pan.
Place a layer of saltine crackers in pan. Melt 1 cup butter or margerine (not light) and 1 cup brown sugar in
saucepan. Bring to a boil, let boil one minute. Pour mixture over saltines. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Place in 400 degree oven for 5 minutes, or until chips are melted. Using spatula, smooth chips to cover crackers.
(Top with nuts if you like...) Let cool and break into pieces. Makes an easy and inexpensive gift!
