The Student's Adventure In Learning Program - SAIL

SAIL (The Student's Adventure In Learning) is a Basic Skills/Work Experience Program with a year long follow-along component. Each year, SAIL serves 45 eligible students ages 14-17 in grades eight through eleven. Participants attend Edmonds-Woodway High School five days per week from the end of June through mid August, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Students earn minimum wage for the four hours work experience per day. No vacations are permitted during the summer. Follow-up is provided to any youth exiting the program after the summer.

Summer work experience sites are located throughout the cities of Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, and Lynnwood. All participants must meet economic or special needs criteria.
