Time Line; This story starts at Devimon's destruction, after that it's totally different from anything you have seen or will ever see on the Digimon show.
Legal Stuff: I don’t own Digimon: Digital Monsters (though I wish I did), Fox Kids and Saban do. I’m not doing this for any reason except that I wanted to. Any resemblance this has to the real Digimon episodes is purely coincidental and unforeseen (I can't imagine they'd ever do anything this weird). The very first part of this (untill things start to get strange) wasn't wrighten by me. I got it with permission from the Unoficial Digimon Domain's episode archives. Thanks for the help with the title Ilasu!
As Devimon disintegrates, he tells Angemon he isn't really smart using up all his power. "Evil is everywhere. There are other Digimon even more powerful then me. You haven't won at all. What a waste of time. Ha ha ha!" With that, Devimon vanished into thin air.
A lone cry pierces the air, "ANGEMON!" That young innocent voice is TK, he is crying out to his Digimon friend. Tears running from his eyes, he looks up at Angemon.
Angemon turns toward him, bright white specks of light forms from his body. He too is disingrating. "TK, I'll come back....if you want me to," with that Angemon disappears.
"Angemon!!"
TK falls to his knees, sobbing for the lost of his Digimon. Single white feathers start to fall from the sky. The feathers form a pile in front of TK, the pile starts to glow and it turns out to be a Digi-egg. An orange and white Digi-egg. TK sees it and hugs it. All the others circle around TK. "What do you know, it's Digi egg," Tentomon tells everyone.
"Can it be Angemon?" TK asks.
"I know it is, he's just resting for a while to regain his strength," Gabumon explains.
"But don't worry, you'll see him again, when he digi-volves," Palmon says.
"I promise to take real good care of him!" TK vows, hugging his egg. "You saved my life, Angemon."
Just then, a large swirling portal opened in the sky. It acted like a cyclone, pulling everything it could into it’s ominous blackness. It was unbearable. T.K. clung to his Digi-egg, not registering the danger even as Matt dragged him back to the others. The winds around them picked up, pulling small rocks and even a few trees into the vortex. They grabbed onto the large trees around them, hoping it would be enough to keep them from that fait. It wasn’t. The tree Izzy had a hold on started to give way. Startled, he let go, then found himself dragged away by the strong wind.
When he finally woke up, Izzy found himself starring straight into a pair of bright, green eyes.
"Thank goodness your up," a rather high voice exclaimed, "I was getting worried." The little pale pink Digimon pulled him up. It looked a bit like Tokomon, Izzy thought, but with a different face. "My name’s Ketomon."
"Um, hi."
"Well, aren’t you going to tell me your name?"
"Oh, sorry, I guess I’m just a little out of it."
"That’s understandable, you hit your head pretty hard when you fell."
"Fell? From where?"
"This weird, swirly, black thing that opened up in the sky."
"That was a portal?"
Ketomon shrugged. "I still want to know your name."
"I’m Koshiro Izumi, but everyone calls me Izzy. Where are we?"
"On Modem Island of course."
"What? That makes no sense, I was just on File Island."
"File Island? Well, you’re a long way away from there now. All the way across the ocean."
Izzy shook his head in despair. "What am I going to do? All my friends are on File Island, and so is Tentomon."
"Don’t worry Koshiro, I’ll protect you." He looked up, Ketomon still smiling brightly at him.
"Uh, Ketomon, I kind of already have a Digimon. Tentomon. And, well, can’t you only have one?"
"Nope."
"Really?"
"Really. After all, you can never have to many friends, and that’s what Digimon are."
"You know, I never really thought about it that way." Ketomon started laughing.
"What’s so funny?"
"Oh, nothing. Come on, there’s someone I’ve got to introduce you to."
Ketomon led Izzy through a dense forest until he found what he was looking for. Standing a few feet away from them was a beautiful looking Digimon. It looked like a white horse with a light yellow main and feathers of the same color above it’s black hoofs. It’s tail was like a lion’s, tipped with light yellow feathers, and it’s blue green eyes were a large almond shape. A small, gold horn was on it’s forehead, sticking out from it’s main and two tiny and it had two tine fangs showing, one on either side of it’s mouth. Still, the thing that captured Izzy’s attention the most, was it’s long, grayish wings. They, unlike those of all the other Digimon he had ever seen, were not torn or ripped, and had an almost metallic shine on there feathers.
Ketomon bounces up to it excitedly. "Hi Kantremon!"
Are these new Digimon friends or enemies? Where exactly is this mysterious island anyway? Will Izzy every get back to his friends? Well, you'll just have to wait untill part 2 to find out.
