Prof. Jayant Modak has been awarded the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship for spending a year at National Institute of Biotechnology, Braunsweig, Unified Germany.
Dr. S. K. Gupta won the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) 1998 Young Scientist Award.
Dr. V. Kumaran won the Indian National Academy of Engineers (INAE) 1997 Young Engineer Award.
