Dr. V. Kumaran takes over as the President of CEA from Dr. Prabhu R Nott with effect from 25th November, 1998.
Dr. Giridhar Madras joins our Department from the University of California at Davis. He is a Ph.D from Texas A&M University and is working on Separations and Reaction Engineering.
Prof. K. Kesava Rao takes over as the Chairman of the Department from Prof. K.S. Gandhi with effect from 17th December, 1997.
Dr. S. K. Gupta joined the Department as Assistant Professor in July 1996.
Prof. K. Nandakumar from University of Alberta, Edmonton (Canada) spent his sabbatical year (1996-97) with us.
Prof. G. Rao from UMBC is visiting us this year.
