Zeta Nu History

Zeta Nu Chapter
Indiana State University
Pickerl Hall, Box 5
Terre Haute, IN 47809
(812) 237-5355

The date was May 3, 1969,when nine beautiful and intelligent women chartered the Zeta Nu chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., making it the first Black Greek lettered sorority on the campus of Indiana State University. Since then, 37 lines have crossed over into DELTA LAND.

The Zeta Nu Chapter has received outstanding recognition for involvment in the Terre Haute Community and within the ISU Campus Community. The President of the University has specifically asked for the Zeta Nu Chapter to assist in various events on campus (Blood Drives, and various special "Anniversary" projects) that the university sponsors. Some of the various projects that we have dedicated our time to this semester include:

Blood Drives
Adopted an inner city School
Habitat for Humanity
Food/Clothing Drive
Health Days

and the list continues on and on. As we, the ladies of DST, continue to show our committment to DELTA and our community, we open up our doors to those that may be in need. Never hesitate to contact us for assistance. For sisterhood is our being and PUBLIC SERVICE is what we do together, as sisters!
