When your adventure begins, you'll be asked to choose names for yourself and your rival, Professor Oak's grandson.You may choose default names from the computer's list or make up two of your own.For this walkthrough, I'll refer to your rival as "Gary," one of the default names.Now explore Pallet Town, making sure to visit Gary's house for a peek at the map on the wall.After you've talked to everyone, head north toward Route 1.Before you get very far, Professor Oak will appear and escort you to his lab.Once there, he'll let you choose one of his Pokemon for your very own! |
