From the picture on the reviews page some of you can probably guess that this was coming and overall all I'm impressed in the way Capcom has done Chaos Legion. To start off with the gameplay is your basic hack and slash nothing more just pound down on the attack button to kill all the enemies in sight, but they came up with this way of changing that around a bit with the ability of calling on monsters to help you or Legions. There are 7 legions in all and each have their own personality as well as strength an weakness(some are stronger against metal and weaker to living creatures). I have to say that it was nice to see my character on the screen not fighting alone and having help from this group of monsters. Which your gonna need when you get a look at number of creatures that attack you there can be hundreds at times it seems. Also if I mention anything at all about this game it has to be the lock on, now in most game your lock on and a crusor appears over the character and at sometimes can become an eyesore. In this the character releases a bolt of lightning from his hand and that works as your lock on which is so simple you think why the hell haven't some of the other companies think of this. The look of the game is very good, very dark which fits the story and the sound and voice over are very well done, but the next most important thing I think I should mention is the story, because for some reason the characters in the story reminded me a little bit about Final Fantasy VII so during this game it kind od felt like I was playing an action/adventure FFVII. Now in the game you play as two character Seig who has a sword and the ability to summon the Legions and then there's the female character Arcia who I actually had more fun playing as. All in all I have to say that they had a great idea with the storyline yet the characters feel as if they took Dante from Devil May Cry and split him in half.
