March 28, 2000

"We want to take this time to remind everyone that this murder remains unsolved. We are pleading for someone..anyone, to come forward with some information. We are still searching for closure on this and will continue to search for information until our leads lead us to an answer! Please, come forward. --Tami's Mom

September 30, 1998

A lot has happened since this page was created. My mother received a call from the "Leeza Show" and they were interested in doing a segment on unsolved murder cases. A few days later, my mother and sister jumped on a plane and flew to Los Angeles to tape the show. There was a psychic on the show to help put some closure in our hearts or possible open up some new leads. The psychic said that Tami was already dead when her body was thrown over the bank of the ditch. She also saw that her body was covered in something blue (possibly a blue tarp or blanket). On the blue item was the numbers 415. We are unsure what this could mean. The blue item was not recovered at the scene. Detectives that were on the case also went on the show to confirm any information. I don't think that any info was confirmed because of the short time that they had. The case is being looked into further but there is not enough information to go very far with. We are in much need for anyone who may remember something, anything. I was 16 yrs. old when my sister died and at that age, you don't pay much attention to the information that is being thrown back and forth regarding a case such as this. I have grown up since then and am very concerned about facts and issues regarding this murder. And I very much want my family to rest. Until this murder is solved, there will be no "rest", no "acceptance", and no "closure". Please help put closure in our lives.

The October 1st edition of The Leader has a front page article about my sister's story. So many people have forgotten that this tragedy took place, for it happened so long ago. We will never forget. We are hoping this story will put back into the minds of this community that there was a murder here 10 yrs. ago and is yet to be solved. We would like to thank Lou Anne McDaniel and The Leader Newspaper for taking the time to listen and for her taking the time to research and write this story. We appreciated your time and efforts.

Thank you for taking time to visit this page and please take another minute to sign the guestbook.
