Deirdre, Elizabeth, and Ivar looked at Rohan in shock. "Your sister?" Deirdre finally managed to sputter. Sarah smiled at the two princesses. "I am Rohan's sister," she said. "He and I were separated a birth." Deirdre looked as if she could not digest this information. Rohan had a sister? Deirdre turned and ran from the room.
Later that day, Sarah was in Queen Maeve's throne room. She had come back to Temra after her little visit in Kells. "Did everything go according to plan?" Maeve asked. Sarah smiled. "Yes, mother. Everything is going fine. Deirdre thinks that I am pure evil while the others seem to trust me completely." she replied. One other thing that Rohan and the others did not know was that she also was a Mystic Knight.
"I will send a creature to Kells. Then you will reveal your other secret to the Mystic Knights." Maeve said. She smiled a evil, wicked, smile. "Mother, what about the seventh Mystic Knight? The one they call Breaca. What will we do about her?" Sarah asked. Maeve looked ahead as she raised her scepter up. "Oh, don't worry about her. I have my own little plan for that little knight," she said.
"Forces of sorcery, by the power of this stone, I call forth a creature of fire!" Maeve shouted. Light burst from the stone. From the light came a terrible creature. It had two horns coming out of its head from which it could spit fire. It was a very tall, very hideous creature. "Go to Kells. Find the Mystic Knights. Destroy them!" Maeve commanded. The creature turned and left for Kells.
Back in Kells, Deirdre had gone to her room to comprehend what she had just heard. She could not believe that her beloved Rohan had a sister. She heard a door open but she did not turn around. She felt someone touch her shoulders, but she still did not turn around. She felt the coldness of a knife, but still she did not turn. She felt the pain of the knife stabbing her, and turned at that.
She turned to find Sarah smiling evilly. "Sleep well, Princess," she said. Deirdre fell to her bed. Sarah had stabbed her in the abdomen. Deirdre fell into a deep sleep. Sarah looked at Deirdre. "Sweet dreams, Deirdre," she whispered. Then she turned and disappeared.
Later that day, the creature attacked one of Kells' villages.
Rohan, Angus, Ivar, Garrett, and Elizabeth went to fight the
creature. "Let's fight fire with fire!" Rohan said. He shot a
expertly aimed shot at the creature. The creature just deflected
it. "We need our armor!" Elizabeth said. "But what about
Deirdre?" Garrett questioned. Rohan thought for a second.
"Garrett, you and Elizabeth go look for Deirdre. Ivar and Angus
can stay here with me," he said. Garrett nodded and left with
Elizabeth.
Rohan held up his sword. "Fire within me!" Angus held up his
mace. "Earth beneath me!" Ivar held up his trident. "Water
around me!" Their armor magically appeared. "Ok, now let's try,"
Angus said. He swung his mace around. It did not do any good.
"Care for some help boys?" a voice called out. The three knights
turned to find Sarah standing there. "Sarah! This is too
dangerous! Stay back!" Rohan shouted. Sarah shook her head and
held up the staff she was holding. "Stars Above Me!" she called.
A pattern of stars began to form around her. They twirled around
her, hugging her like a second skin. Suddenly, the stars
vanished, and Sarah stood there in her Mystic Armor. It was much
like Deirdre's except it was black and had gold stars all over
it. "Who are you?" Rohan asked. "I am your sister Rohan. I am
the Mystic Knight of the Cosmos," Sarah replied.
She held up her staff. "I call upon the power of the stars!"
she called out. The staff started twirling. Suddenly, a bolt of
energy shot out from the staff, destroying the creature. Sarah
turned and left.
Meanwhile, in Kells castle, Garrett, Elizabeth, Cathabad, and
King Conchobar stood in Deirdre's room. Garrett and Elizabeth
had found her earlier. Rohan and the others rushed in.
"Cathabad, there is a....." Rohan trailed off, looking at
Deirdre. "What the hell happened?" he yelled. Elizabeth stepped
forward. "Rohan, we found her like this," she said quietly. "It
gets worse," Garrett added. "Worse? How can it get worse?" Rohan
yelled. "Rohan, calm down!" Angus said. "The knife that Deirdre
was stabbed with was soaked in a sleeping elixir," Cathabad
said. "Deirdre will remain in a deep sleep until her 'killer' is
found and either killed, or brought to justice." Rohan looked at
them. "So who did it?" he asked. They all looked at each other.
"Rohan, I found this scrap of fabric by the window," Elizabeth
said, holding up something in her hand. Rohan forced himself to
look at it. It was black, with a star pattern on it. "By Dadga!
It's from Sarah's cape," Rohan whispered.
