Outside the castle gates, the visitor neared Kells castle. She carried little; a small bag filled with her few possessions and a tall walking staff.
She continued walking towards the castle gates, the wind blowing her brown-black hair around. As she was about to enter the courtyard, a guard stopped her.
"What' s your business here?" The guard inquired, everyone at the castle was much more alert since Maeve's attacks had begun.
"I seek an audience with the Mystic Knights, have you any idea when they will be together again?" the girl asked, her eyes shining with hope,"I intend no harm."
"I believe they are just inside the courtyard right now, they are training." The guard said, all of his suspicion was gone, the girl seemed honest and harmless. The girl nodded her head in thanks and headed inside the castle. She slowly approached the courtyard, not yet ready to round the corner. She wanted to see the three that might remember her, even though she doubted they would recognize her.
"I've got you now, Ivar, prepare to lose!" Cried Angus from inside the courtyard. Ivar and Angus were sparring, while Garrett, Rohan and Deirdre cheered them on.
That one voice, the one that was so comforting to her in past years, the one voice that she trusted, that encouraged her and gave her strength. This time, however, it gave the visitor a sense of fear and anxiousness.
'What if they don't recognize me?' She thought to herself. The cheering continued inside the courtyard. She suddenly regretted coming to the castle.
The girl took a deep breath and rounded the corner. Upon seeing her, Angus, Rohan and Deirdre looked at her in awe, as if they were seeing a vision or something other than a person, but Angus was the most shocked of them all. His sword fell and his mouth gaped open. Ivar backed up, giving him some space. The girl became upset, when she saw his reaction. Angus was frozen in place.
"Andrea," he said, his voice barely a whisper.
