Deirdre, Mystic Knight of Air
Deirdre is the Mystic Knight of Air and the daughter of King Conchobar, the King of Kells. She wields the Whirlwind Crossbow which is imbued with the ability to shoot powerful blasts of air which are capable of knocking soldiers off of their horses. She wears white and gold armour and her elemental call is Air above me. She is anything but your typical beautiful Irish princess. She is a strong warrior, and more than a match for any of Queen Maeve's unearthly creatures. This red-haired princess is very outspoken and can be a little difficult at times, but with her skill and strengh, she proves to be a vaulable ally against Queen Maeve. After being granted her Mystic Weapon by King Fin Varra, she sets out to defeat the Lightning Bat of Temra. She defeats the creature and gains her Mystic Armour. At a later date, her father betroathes her against her will to Garrett, a prince from an allied land. She believes Garrett to be too brash and protests the marriage. While arguing with Garrett about the proposed marriage, she inadvetantly admits that she is interested in Rohan, not realizing that Rohan has overheard most of the conversation. She nevers tells Rohan of her interests in him. Eventually the marriage proposal is dissolved. Dierdre is destined to become the Queen of Kells, but unti then she fights alongside her fellow Mystic Knights against Queen Maeve to protect her home of Kells.
