Broccoli Salad
Ingredients:Directions:
2 lb/ 2 bunches Broccoli (chopped)
1 jar real bacon bits
1/2 bermuda onion (chopped)
1/3 C raisins
1 C mayonnaise
1/4 C sugar
2 T red wine vinegar
1/2 t pepper
1/2 C Toasted Sunflower Seeds
Chop broccoli and onion.
Add bacon bits and raisins.
Toss.
Next:
Whip together the sugar,
mayo, vinegar and pepper.
Pour over the broccoli mixture.
Refrigerate.
(best flavor, if overnight)
Top with seeds before serving.

Carolyn's Cranberry Salad
Ingredients:Directions:
2 pkg cranberry jello
2 C boiling water
1 C cold water
1 can cranberries, whole or jellied
1 orange, peeled and finely chopped
Mix all ingredients
Chill until set

Fruit and Cheese Salad
Ingredients:Directions:
8-10 C salad greens
1 lg can drained mandarine oranges
1 C seedless red grapes, halved
3/4 C crumbled Bleu Cheese
1/2 C thinly sliced bermuda onions
1/4 C chopped walnuts, toasted
1/4 C red wine vinegar
2 T olive oil
2 T honey
1 T Dijon mustard
1/4 t salt
Toss first 6 ingredients in a lg salad bowl
In smaller bowl, wisk remaining ingredients together
Pour over salad mix and toss
Serves: 8-10

Hash Brown Potato Salad
Ingredients:Directions:
1 qt water
2 t salt
1 16 oz pkg frozen, cubed hash brown potatoes
2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
1/4 C mayo
1/4 C sour cream
1/4 C chopped celery
3 T sweet pickle relish
2 T chopped green onion
1 1/2 t prepared Deli mustard
In 2 qt pan, bring water and salt to a boil
Add hash brown and cook 3-4 min, or until tender
Drain and set aside
Combine remaining ingredients in lg bowl
Add potatoes and toss gently until coated
Cover and chill
