M & M's Cookie Mix In A Jar
Ingredients: Directions:
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups M and M's candies
2 cups flour mixed with
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Layer ingredients in jar in order given in a 1 quart "wide mouth"canning jar.
It will be a tight fit when you add the flour mixture so be sure to pack everything down firmly.
Store in a cool dry place away from a heat source so condensation and clumping does not occur. Attach the following recipe to the jar

M & M Cookies
Ingredients:Directions:
Cookie mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 t vanilla
1 stick or 8 t softened margarine
DO NOT USE DIET MARGARINE
Empty cookie mix into large mixing bowl.
Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
Add margarine.
Add egg and vanilla.
Mix until completely blended.
You will need to finish mixing with your hands.
Shape into walnut sized balls.
Place 2 inches apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
DO NOT USE WAXED PAPER
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes until tops are very lightly browned.
Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.
Remove cookies to racks to finish cooling.
Yield: 2 1/2 dozen cookies.

Brownie Mix In A Jar
Ingredients:Directions:
2 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 1/4 cups flour mixed with
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Layer ingredients in a 1 quart "wide mouth" canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding the flour mixture.
Store in a cool dry place away from a heat source so condensation and clumping does not occur.
Attach the following recipe to the jar

Brownies
Ingredients:Directions:
Brownie mix
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 sticks or 12 t softened margarine
DO NOT USE DIET MARGARINE
Empty mix into large mixing bowl.
Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
Add margarine.
Add egg and vanilla.
Mix until completely blended.
Spread batter into a sprayed 9x13 inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cool completely in pan.
Cut into 2 inch squares.
Makes 2 dozen Brownies
