Chile Con Queso:ROD
Ingredients: Directions:
1/2 stick butter
1/2 onion
1 bell pepper
1 can cream of mushroom
8 ounce sour cream
1 pound Velveeta cheese
Saute onion and bell pepper
in butter until tender.
Add cream of mushroom and sour cream,
mix well.
Add Velveeta.
Heat until melted.

Chicken Holiday Wreath -Rita:Recipe of the Day
Ingredients:Directions:
Filling:
1/2 cup red pepper, chopped
1/2 cup broccoli, chopped
1/4 cup water chestnuts, chopped
2 tablespoons onion, chopped
1 can (5 ounces) chicken, drained
2/3 cup canned cream of chicken soup
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded CoJack cheese
2 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent dough
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Chop red pepper, broccoli, water chestnuts and onion with Food Processor. Shred chicken.
Combine all filling ingredients in bowl.
Arrange crescent triangles in a circle on 15 inch baking dish with bases over lapping in the center and points to the outside.
Scoop filling mixture onto widest portion of each crescent.
(I use ice cream scoop)
Fold points of triangles over filling and tuck under base at center.
Filling will not be completely covered.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Yield: 6 servings

Fruit Salsa - F. Buchkowsky
Ingredients:Directions:

1, 11 ounce can (undrained) mandarin oranges
1, 8 1/2 ounce can (undrained) sliced peaches
1, 8 ounce can (undrained) pineapple tidbits
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 (each) medium green pepper, red pepper, and yellow pepper chopped
3 minced garlic cloves
3 T cornstarch, 4 t vinegar
Combine cornstarch in a bit of the fruit juice, stirring until dissolved
Add all ingredients to a slow cooker set on high
Stir well and cover
Cook 2 hours or until thickened and heated through stirring occasionally
Serve with tortilla chips

Peanut Butter Apple Dip- Quick Cooking
Ingredients:Directions:

1, 8 ounce pkg softened cream cheese
1 C peanut butter
1 C packed brown sugar
1/4 C milk
3-4 apples cut into wedges
In mixing bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients
mix well
Serve with apple slices
Store in refrigerator
Yield: 2 2/3 cups
