This is my new Midwest Super Stinker. Photos were taken at the Midwest Sundowners flying field before the maiden flight on May 21, 2005.

The plane has a Moki 2.10 engine with a Bisson muffler, swinging a Zinger 18/10 prop, and carries 32 ounces of fuel. Guidance is a Hi-Tech Laser 6 channel FM radio and is set up with dual 1700Ma batteries and dual switches. Four aileron servos eliminate the need for drag links. One servo for each elevator, and a single servo with pull-pull for the rudder. Finished weight (less fuel) is 13.5 pounds.

Here's a look at the bottom of the plane. I have learned not to use the same color scheme on the top and bottom of any plane. Besides -- biplanes need checkers.

The maiden flight needed only minor trim changes, and was flown at half throttle or less. All control throws set per kit instructions, and low rate settings proved to be just right for the successful maiden flight.

I have to say that Midwest Products made this a very enjoyable plane to build. This kit took me only six weeks to frame, rig, and be ready to cover.
