There weren't enough games released for the Super NES in 1998, so there is no Top 3 Games of the year. However, I would still like to honor the Super NES (it's been on the market for over seven years) by at least putting on here the First Place Games of 1998. Look below.

Check out the Game Boy Color Special Feature to see a collection of previews of Game Boy Color games. Since it was put together a month before Game Boy Color was released, some of the games featured may already be released, like Tetris DX, for example. For more recent information on Game Boy Color games, be sure to check out this editorial: Game Boy Color in 1999.

Game Boy Color wasn't the only system to have its own Special Feature on KNP. Check out the Virtual Boy Special Feature to see a collection of pictures and info from Virtual Boy games.

Also, take a look at these two editorials: The Future of 8-Bit, which talks about Game Boy's future and Game Boy Pocket (this editorial is from 1996), and The Super NES Is Dying, which talks about the nearing death of the Super NES (this editorial is from 1997). Both editorials will hopefully give you some background info on both the Super NES and Game Boy systems.
