![]() Could there be a Mario Clash 2? |
|---|
In August 1996, Nintendo was going to have a re-launch of Virtual Boy, with three new games: Dragon Hopper, Bound High, and Zero Racers. But, instead, Nintendo cancelled Virtual Boy and all its future games.
But, think about it. Virtual Boy was the first 3-D home video game system. And since the time that it was cancelled, there has been nothing else like it.
![]() Maybe we'll get Bound High afterall. |

Perhaps they'll get the right games this time around. If they had games like the three mentioned above at the launch of the system in 1995, I think more people would have bought the system.
Just think of playing a game like Super Mario 64 in real 3-D. Virtual Boy already has one polygon-graphics game: Red Alarm. And Zero Racers, the cancelled racing game, also used polygon graphics. So with the advancement of technology a Super Mario 64-like game could be possible on a system like Virtual Boy.
Only time will tell. If I hear anything about another (enhanced, perhaps) Virtual Boy, you'll see it right here on Kyle's Nintendo Page.
