Bust-A-Move '99

By Acclaim and Taito

Last Updated: April 27, 1999
8/10
GRAPHICS: Cartoon graphics. Nice digitized backgrounds.
7/10
SOUND: The music is okay. Nothing special. Sound is adequate.
8/10
CONTROL: Good control. You can either use the digital pad or the analog stick.
8/10
CHALLENGE: Good challenge. Accuracy is more important than quickness.
7/10
THEME: There really isn't a storyline. For a puzzle game, there usually isn't. The object of the game is to shoot certain colored bubbles at their like-colored bubbles that are already on the screen. It takes three bubbles of the same color to "pop" all three (or more) bubbles.
8/10
FUN: It's fun for a while, especially on the multi-player mode, but after a while it seems to get repetive and boring. Don't play too much of this game at once.

OVERALL: 77% (C)

COMMENTS: If you like this game, check out Bust-A-Move for the Super NES or the upcoming Bust-A-Move 4 for Game Boy Color.
