| With the release of the Game Boy Color in 1998, Nintendo promised a slew of colorized Game Boy classics. Unfortunately, Wario Land II turned out to be the only one. But, there were Game Boy Color versions of NES games. And that was a nice thing to see. Now you can play Mario's first adventure, Super Mario Bros., on the go with your Game Boy Color. Other Game Boy Color versions of NES games include R-Type DX and Shadowgate Classic. Look out for Bionic Commando and Crystalis, too. They should be released this year.
Mario was definitely popular last year, starring in six games, including Super Smash Bros., Mario Party, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Game & Watch Gallery 3, and both Mario Golf games. This year, look for Mario Party 2 and Super Mario Adventure. One of the most wanted for this year was the most wanted for last year: Perfect Dark. That is definitely one really wanted game. Other most wanted ones include the next N64 Zelda game and Nintendo's next-generation 32-BIT handheld system: Game Boy Advance. |
