I place my feet with care
My life is a multiple choice,
I am free of any fear.
This is only the beginning

Wedged into a plastic chair
I shucked off the chair
Ponderous question
This weighty matter,
Sturdy furniture
Fatigue insures

My Determined Optimism
on stepping stones of ice
never knowing if I might fall
and slipping once or twice.
I have opportunities galore
many fish in the sea and
shells upon the shore.
What you see is what you get.
I've searched a lifetime for peace
and haven't lost it yet.
of my journey on this path.
Each morning lights the skies
I'm graced by things that last.
Thinking about Seats - Senyru
girth wrapped and molded
I stood. Chair stood too.
like a farm girl husking corn,
dents in derriere.
where to sit upon return
don't want chair shaped butt.
it's not a thin dilemma
steps too low to sit.
does not present this problem
can sit without thought.
I can't stand it anymore.
Don't sweat the small seats.
How are we alike?
What is my intent,
to study what's similar or different?
If I don't make the change in and for myself,
who will? Who can?
This is an eternal quest for woman and man.
To presume to answer the unanswerable
is both my apotheosis and hubris
which alas, I wear emblazoned on my heart.
