As For Me....
'kay.
This is the non complicated version so don't expect shocking revelations here.
A french theologian (sorry, don't remember the name) once said that we are not
human beings with a spirit, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.
That sums things up pretty nicely for me.
And religion?
Well, religion is just the way you dress up your spirituality.
Some don't need or want to recognize a formal religion..spiritually naked then,
and that is fine.
I myself have chosen a modest outfit of Christianity. Altered of course, to fit me,
as all wardrobes should be. I have tried the best I can to iron out the wrinkles
of hypocracy, and admit that there is still some work to be done there.
I have removed the clown collar of self-righteous preachiness 'cause the look
does nothing for me. And I have also put a stylish slit in skirt of closemindedness.
Not quite satisfied with that, I have accessorized with teachings from other religions
and philosophies, plus gave the outfit that comfy worn look by adding lessons from
lifes experiences.
It'll do for now. *S*
