One does not age because of the passing away of
days, months, and years. You grow old when you
cease to let the child in you come out to play. Turn
your focus away from tending wrinkles of the body
and smooth the wrinkles of the soul with a youthful
attitude. Live in childlike wonder. Make time to play
in the sunlight, dance in the moonlight, laugh,
snuggle with puppies, hug and be hugged. Just once
pause and look at the world through your legs. Rest
on a grassy knoll and look for Angels in the clouds.
Be curious. Blow bubbles. Look for feathers and
pennies for they are sent to bless the child in you. Be
forever young as you let the inner light of your
starchild shine.
HEAVEN'S GROCERY STORE
I was walking down life's highway a long time ago. One day I saw a
sign that read, "HEAVEN'S GROCERY STORE As I got a little closer the
door came open wide, and when I came to myself I was standing inside.
I saw a host of ANGELS. They were standing everywhere. One handed me
a basket and said, "My Child shop with care".Everything a Christian needed was in that grocery store. And all you
couldn't carry, you could come back the next day for more.
First, I got some PATIENCE. LOVE was in the same row.
Further down was UNDERSTANDING: you need that
everywhere you go. I got a box or two of WISDOM, a bag or two of
FAITH. I just couldn't miss the HOLY GHOST, for it was all over the
place. I stopped to get some STRENGTH and COURAGE to help me run this
race. By then my basket was getting full, but I remembered I needed
some GRACE. I didn't forget SALVATION, for SALVATION was free, so I
tried to get enough of that to save both you and me. Then I started up
to the counter to pay my grocery bill, for I thought I had everything
to do the MASTER'S will.
As I went up the aisle, I saw PRAYER: and I just had to put that in,
for I knew when I stepped outside, I would run into sin. PEACE AND JOY
were plentiful; they were last on the shelf. SONG and PRAISE were
hanging near, so I just helped myself.
Then I said to the angel, "Now, how much do I owe?" He
smiled and said, "Just take them everywhere you go."
Again, I smiled and said, "How much do I really owe?" He smiled again
and said, "MY CHILD, JESUS PAID YOUR
BILL A LONG, LONG TIME AGO."
ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER YOU SHALL ASK IN PRAYER,
BELIEVING, YOU SHALL RECEIVE."MATTHEW 21:22)
Remember Today
Sometimes we tend to forget,
You have a purpose that is all your own,
No one else is you.
You have dreams and hopes and desires,
Listen to your heart for a while.
Remember today all the blessings you have,
There's beauty in every direction you look.
Enjoy the abundance that is already yours,
The world is a wonderful place and you're here.
Remember today that you get what you give,
Your world is a mirror of your inner self.

"FootPrints"
One night a man had a dream.He dreamed he was
walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed
scenes from his life. For each scence, he noticed two sets of footprints
in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back
at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the
path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed
that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord,you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with
me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome
times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand
why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My son, My precious child, I love you
and would never leave you. During the times of trial
and suffering,when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

if you take the time to
think about what you want in life
Get to know yourself
Find out who you are
Choose your goals carefully
Be honest with yourself
Always believe in yourself
Find interests and pursue them
Find out what is important to you
Find out what you are good at
Don't be afraid to make mistakes
Work hard to achieve successes
When things are not going right
don't give up- just try harder
Find courage inside of you to remain strong
Give yourself freedom to try out new things
Don't be so set in your way that you can't grow
Always act in an ethical way
Laugh and have a good time
Form relationships with people you respect
Treat others as you want them to treat you
Be honest with people
Accept the truth
Speak the truth
Open yourself up to love
Don't be afraid to love
Remain close to your family
Take part in the beauty of nature
Be appreciative of all that you have

Work towards peace and happiness in the world

Successful and happy living is built into you by God who created you. If you have never experienced
this kind of live, maybe you need to be re-created.
Thoughts of a kind have a natural affinity. While the negative thinker tends to draw back to himself
negative results, the positive thinker activates the world around him positively.
Our happiness depends upon the habit of mind we cultivate. So practice happy thinking every day.
Cultivate the merry heart, develop the happiness habit, and life will become a continual feast.
