I perceive that the love of money has taken over the minds of multitudes in the world, even some of the minds of My beloved people. They are seeking to store up treasures on earth rather than treasures in heaven.
DO NOT LAY UP FOR YOURSELVES TREASURES ON EARTH, WHERE MOTH AND RUST DESTROY AND WHERE THIEVES BREAK IN AND STEAL; BUT LAY UP FOR YOURSELVES TREASURES IN HEAVEN, WHERE NEITHER MOTH NOR RUST DESTROY AND WHERE THIEVES DO NOT BREAK IN AND STEAL. FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO. (Matt. 6:19-21)
They are filling their minds with thoughts of how to acquire money and they leave no room for thoughts of Me. O, My people, I urge you to abandon all thought of acquiring money and the material things of the world because soon they will have no value.
Many of My prophets whom I have sent forth have prophesied to My people of the time when your gold and silver would be worthless but many of you have not listened and have rejected the words of the prophets. Does not My Word say....
THEN YOU WILL LAY YOUR GOLD IN THE DUST, AND THE GOLD OF OPHIR AMONG THE STONES OF THE BROOKS. YES, THE ALMIGHTY WILL BE YOUR GOLD AND YOUR PRECIOUS SILVER FOR THEN YOU WILL HAVE YOUR DELIGHT IN THE ALMIGHTY, AND LIFT UP YOUR FACE TO GOD. YOU WILL MAKE YOUR PRAYER TO HIM, HE WILL HEAR YOU, AND YOU WILL PAY YOUR VOWS. YOU WILL ALSO DECLARE A THING AND IT WILL BE ESTABLISHED FOR YOU; SO LIGHT WILL SHINE ON YOUR WAYS. (Job 22:24-28)
Beloved, repent of your absorption in acquiring the things of the world and seek to have priority in seeking Me in My Word.
FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS A ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL, FOR WHICH SOME HAVE STRAYED FROM THE FAITH IN THEIR GREEDINESS, AND PIERCED THEMSELVES THROUGH WITH MANY SORROWS. BUT YOU, O MAN OF GOD, FLEE THESE THINGS AND PURSUE RIGHTEOUSNESS, GODLINESS, FAITH, LOVE, PATIENCE, GENTLENESS. (1 Tim. 6:10,11)
Those of you, My people, who have acquired riches find pleasure in giving to My ministries and in helping those in need rather than trying to acquire more, and you will experience peace and joy flooding your hearts.
