Alana awoke from the sun beaming through the sparkly white see-through curtains. Alana got up and looked around her room. RRRRIIINNNGGG!!!! "Hello?" Alana said in a sleepy voice. "Hellooo?" she said again a little irritated. "Um, hi." the shy voice said. "Hi, who is this?" Alana said politely. "Um, it's...ummm...It's Kat." "Oh, Kat, I haven't talked to you in a long time, how are you?" "I'm okay, hey listen you want to go shopping?" "Sure." Okay I’ll pick you up at 11:00 okay bye." "Bye" Alana said and hung up the phone. She thought she could use some spending money time after what she went through. "Hi so ready to go?" asked Kat happily. "Yeah. Lets go" Alana hopped into the little dark green bug and looked around. "Nice car." she commented trying to make conversation. The truth was that she missed Kat, and she wanted to hang out with her, but Kat wasn't popular enough to hang with them so she ended up losing her to her new bitchy friend Courtney. Alana was kind of nervous about going to the mall with Kat. If Courtney saw her she would have to see her friend get hurt again by Courtney. As the cute little bug drove into a parking space Kat caught a glimpse of her other friends. "Hey look Alana, it's my friend Greg." Alana felt kinda shocked. "When did she become friends with Greg?" Alana thought to herself. The scary thing was that the more Alana saw him, the more she started to like him. There was something about him. Maybe the way his eyes looked so dreamy, or the way he smiled, or maybe it was just him. Whatever it was, she knew she wanted it. "Ummm, you know what, I’m just going to go shopping on my own." Alana said to Kat as they took their seatbelts off. "Don't be silly, you have to meet him he's gonna love you, don't worry." "Okay." she said. The whole time they spent at the mall, Alana walked silently hoping no one would ask her any questions. And what made it worse was the fact that Kat kept taking Alana away to talk to her secretly about how he kept looking at her. "Why are you so quiet?" "I’m just, a little tired from everything that happened yesterday." she said. "Oh you mean at the party?" "Yeah, I just want to forget that it happened, but I can't." "Well I promise that I won’t talk about it." "Okay thanks" "okay, just try to talk to Greg can you please?" "Sure." Alana said with a sigh and they went into a movie theater. "What are we doing here?" Alana whispered into Kats ear. "Were seeing a movie come on." "Okay." she said a little nervous. So they sat down and watched the movie.
