Chapter 2- Hanson’s Intro

"Oh come on Taylor!" Mandy squealed in her high pitched voice. "Don’t you love me?"

Every time she said those words and made that face Taylor’s heart immediately melted. He sighed and gave in to her demands.

"Fine, we’ll go to the mall."

Taylor told the limo driver to stop at the local mall. Normally, Taylor didn’t like riding in limos, but Mandy had insisted upon it.

"Yay!" Mandy exclaimed. "I need some more clothes."

Zac sighed frustrated with Mandy. His brother and the youngest diva of pop had been dating for about a month now and all Taylor got out of the relationship was being the honored one to wait on her every second of the day. Zac wondered if Isaac had felt that way about Mandy and Taylor’s relationship too, but when Zac turned to his oldest brother, he frowned to see him and his girlfriend kissing. Zac rolled his eyes mainly because he was the only brother not in the clutches of a girl. Isaac’s girlfriend, Ashley, had been a long time family friend and everyone knew that she and Isaac would eventually get together. They were right and tomorrow would be their 1-year anniversary. To celebrate the whole family and Ashley all went back to Tulsa, OK where they later had to pick up Mandy since she had been in New York; Hanson had been in LA.

Finally, Zac, Taylor, Mandy, Isaac, and Ashley arrived at the mall and got out of the limo. They walked in the back so they wouldn’t be seen right off the bat.

Zac walked slower, behind everyone else as they went into the air-conditioned JC Penny’s. He noticed Taylor trying to hold Mandy’s hand.

"No, Taylor, don’t! Your hands are all sweaty!" she complained jumping back in disgust. "Gross!"

She walked ahead leaving a cherry-faced Taylor. Zac grimaced.

"Key to your heart, my ass!" he mumbled to himself as he watched Taylor recover and run to catch up with Mandy.

Zac looked at Isaac again who was so engulfed in Ashley that it didn’t even matter.

"Why are my brothers so retarded?" Zac asked God, looking up at the ceiling.

"What was that Zac?" Ashley looked over Isaac’s arm, which was around her shoulders.

"Nothing," Zac shook his head bashfully.

Ashley shrugged and then Isaac glanced back.

"You need a woman little bro."

"Zac put his hands up in defense. "No THANK you! That’s the LAST thing I need!"

"Awww why do you say that?" Ashley asked him curiously.

"Because, I, uh, don’t like girls they’re dangerous," he lied.

"Well, isn’t that a big fat lie!" Isaac caught him.

"I do find that hard to believe Zac," Ashley grinned.

"Well, uh it’s true so shut up!" Zac growled. "I’m going to Spencer’s Gifts. I’ll meet you guys at the water fountain in the middle of the mall in an hour."

Zac walked away without hearing a reply from anyone. He just wanted to get away from his super love struck brothers. Ashley was like a sister to him and all, but Mandy is just unbearably annoying. She’s so different in real life than she is on TV and Zac couldn’t believe Taylor actually liked her. Of all of the girls to choose from! I’d rather date a screaming fan! Well that’d put our fans down. I’d rather date a dog! Zac laughed at his own thought.

"Tomorrow, the boss said that we’ll all be flying to Hawaii and then to the Philippines for some promotional stuff," Walker Hanson, the father of the Hanson clan, informed everyone after they got home from the mall. "And yes, Ashley can come too, Isaac!"

"Ahhh!" They both screamed in response.

"Short break," Zac mumbled as they lounged around the living room going over the plans.

Mandy, a couple of her body guards and back up dancers and singers left to stay at a hotel refusing to clutter up Diana and Walker Hanson’s home.

Ashley and Isaac stood up first after the little meeting was over.

"We’re going out to eat. See you guys later!" Isaac said taking Ashley’s hand.

She ran her other hand through her long shoulder length brown hair before she and Isaac left the house.

"Some break huh?" Taylor mumbled to Zac.

"Yeah," he agreed standing up and walking to his room tiredly.

Taylor reclined on the couch and turned on the TV to see his own face. He grimaced and threw the remote control at the button panel on the TV turning it back off. He couldn’t stand to look at himself on TV. It was starting all over again.
