~ Chapter 18 ~

When Andrew and Chris came back from the restroom, they sat down on chairs and pulled Renee and Ali on their laps.

"Hold on a minute! I’ve got to take my jacket off," Renee said getting up. As she stood up and took it off both Chris and Isaac’s mouths opened. She looked really sexy, and Isaac was about to say something to compliment her, but Chris got to it first.

"Woah, you look hot!"

"Thanks," she exclaimed sixties back on his lap, kissing him on the lips. Isaac saw this and got really jealous and envious, but just looked down at his feet, hoping no one would notice the expression of hurtness on his face.

Then Ali and Andrew started kissing and Zac just pretended he didn’t see them. He liked Ali a lot, and hoped one day soon she would break up with Andrew so he could ask her out.

Taylor was used to this by now, and just stood there looking down.

They stopped kissing and Chrisso walked in.

"Ok, before we start on the music business, I have something to tell you. We’ve got a condo for you guys; well actually it’s sort of like two condos hooked together. The kid’s condo is upstairs, and the adult’s is downstairs. They each have all the food and drinks you could imagine in them, and they’re 4 bedroom condos. You guys can move in anytime you want, but I prefer you move in tomorrow. Since we’re not doing anything. Any questions?" Christopher said.

"No, but I think we should move in tomorrow! Who agrees?" Renee said.

"I do!" they all said at the same time.

Taylor actually saw some envy in Chris and Andrew’s eyes, and he just wanted to scream in their face, "Haha! We get to share a condo with them, and see them twenty four hours, and you don’t!" But he knew that was foolish and didn’t say anything. He just grinned.

"Ok, great tomorrow it is!" Chrisso said, "Now back to work!"

Chrisso left the room.

"We’re going to go to lunch, Ali. Do you wanna come with us?" Andrew asked as he and Chris got up, ready to leave the room.

"No thanks. We got to get some work done." Ali answered.

"But we’ll see you later, k," Renee smiled as they kissed good bye.

The three bros were relieved to see Chris and Andrew go.

Ali then went over to a table and sat down with Zac. They still had to finish up some drawings for the cd. As Ali started drawing, Zac said, "Cool, you’re left handed just like me. I never noticed that before!"

"Oh, cool!" Ali exclaimed still working on the drawings.

"Here I want you to see if this would be okay for the inside of the lyric book," Ali said. Zac scooted really close to Ali and looked at her, not paying a bit of attention to the drawing. After a few minutes of silence Ali asked, "Well is it, Zac?" She looked up and caught him just looking at her, looking like he wanted to kiss her or something.

"Oh, uh yeah, that’s awesome," he answered.

"Thanks," Ali said.

Renee, Annie, Katey, Isaac, and Taylor were sitting at another table, making finishing touches on the tracks line up (* well not actually finishing touches, because they still had a long way to go.)

"Well, you wanna hear some of our songs?" Renee asked the three Hanson brothers.

"Sure!" Isaac said eyeing Renee wishing she was his. I really wish she didn’t have a boyfriend. He thought with a sigh.

Then Renee picked up her guitar, along with Annie, and Katey picked up her bass. Ali sat behind the drumset and picked up the drumsticks.

"I guess we’ll play ‘Teenage Superhero’ first, k," Renee suggested.

"Sure," Ali replied.

After they had played ‘Teenage Superhero’, ‘Different Endings’, and a few other songs, they stopped and looked at the boys. They were just standing there, staring at them.

"That was awesome!" Isaac exclaimed.

"Yeah, that kicked!" Taylor replied, sounding happy for once.

"I liked it a lot, it just makes you wanna dance!" Zac said acting crazy.

"Zac!" they all exclaimed.

After a long day at the studio they decided it would be best if they went to their hotels, and got to bed early. It was gonna be a big day tomorrow. After the girls and boys said their good-byes, they each went to their rooms. Then, Chris and Andrew came over to help them pack up their things.

"Um, Renee, do you love me as much as I love you?" Chris asked putting her suitcase by the door.

Renee sort of looked down, thinking of Taylor.

"Uh, yeah. Why would you ask that?" Renee replied.

"I don’t know. It just seems weird that you guys are moving in a condo with them?" Chris said.

"Yeah, it almost seems you like them better," Andrew told them jealously.

"What? How could you say that? They are our friends! We like them as friends!" Renee told Chris.

"Yeah, but . . . Nevermind. I shouldn’t have brought that up," Chris said.

"Your damn right you shouldn’t have! We are a couple, well, couples, you shouldn’t doubt us like that! You have to trust us. That’s what relationships are all about. We trust you," Ali said.

"I’m sorry," Andrew replied, but he was faking it. He just wanted to see what they would say.

"Don’t worry about it, but please trust us, ok?" Ali asked of him.

"Alright," Andrew said.

"Lets change the subject. So are you guys going to make a music video?" Chris asked wanting to be in one.

"I don’t know. Maybe." Renee replied.

"Uh, if you do, could we be in it? No, just joking’ I was just trying to make conversation," Chris said trying not to be too obvious.

Renee smiled.

"Maybe," Ali told them.

"I’ll think about it." Renee said as she yawned.

"Well, I think you guys are all packed up. We’ll see you in the morning," Chris told them pulling Renee close to him.

He kissed her passionately as Andrew kissed Ali, but Renee got a weird feeling from him. She didn’t know what it was. Soon, both of the guys left, and Renee and Ali went to sleep very puzzled at their boyfriend’s behavior.

Chris and Andrew had to go home b/c they were in school, and their break was over. They did help Renee and Ali unpack a little and move stuff into the condo though, before they left.

Renee, Chris, Ali, and Andrew walked outside on the front stoop to say their good-byes. Taylor, Isaac, and Zac, eavesdropping, looked down at them from a window upstairs.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye, for a while," Renee said to Chris, his arms wrapped around her waist.

"Well, only for a while," he reassured her. Renee liked being a couple, and she liked having him hold her, but she rather have it be Taylor.

Renee and Chris kissed for a long time, Taylor and Isaac glaring at Chris.

"I’ll miss you," Ali some what lied. She had feelings for Andrew, but they died down a bit last night when he asked those strange questions.

Then, Ali and Andrew started kissing. That time Zac walked away from the window and into his room, on the other side of the hall.

Soon, Chris and Andrew left, and Ali and Renee came back in. They decided to finish unpacking. Renee and Ali shared a room, Annie and Katey were sharing one, Julie had her room upstairs so she could be close to Renee (* and so Mackie, Avery, and Jessie could be by their mom and dad downstairs), and the Hanson bro’s shared a room. Their room was right across the hall from Ali’s and Renee’s so they could see each other perfectly from their rooms. Annie and Katey’s room was beside Renee and Ali’s, and Julie’s was beside Ike, Tay, and Zac’s. Downstairs, Walker and Diana shared a room (*of course), Avery, Mackie, and Jessica shared one, Ms Martin and Ms Weber shared a room, and Chris got his own. Both upstairs and downstairs there were two bathrooms (*with showers and crap), a kitchen, and a living room, except downstairs the living room and kitchen are three times bigger.

In Renee and Ali’s room, as they were unpacking, they were talking about Chris and Andrew.

"What was up with them last night? They were acting really weird," Ali said folding her clothes.

"Yeah, I know. I got a weird feeling about Chris last night, and I think something’s wrong," Renee warned.

"I hope not, lets forget about them right now. I can’t concentrate when I think about stuff like that. It makes me sad, k?" Ali said.

"Sure," Renee replied lying on her bed and putting her headphones on.

When they were done unpacking Ike, Tay, and Zac were bored so they went over to Renee and Ali’s room to see what they were up to. They knocked on the door about 5 times, and when no one answered they got worried and walked in. The boys found Ali and Renee lying on their beds, asleep, listening to their Discman’s.

"Aw, they fell asleep listening to music!" Isaac exclaimed somewhat whispering. "Look how cute Renee looks!"

"Yeah, and Ali, she’s so pretty," Zac said.

"C’mon, we better leave ‘em alone," Isaac said as he and Zac left the room.

Tay ignoring his older brother stayed behind and shut the door after them. He walked up to Renee, turned off her headset, put it on her dresser, covered her up, and kissed her on the lips. Then, he started kissing her deeper and deeper, but then stopped hoping not to wake her. He then went up to Ali and did the same thing. He didn’t care if they woke up, although he’d be really embarrassed, but he loved them very much, and besides it would be the only chance he would get right now b/c of their boyfriends, Isaac, and Zac. After he was finished kissing Ali he just walked to the door, and turned back. He just stared at them, and how beautiful they looked. If he ever had to pick between them, he wouldn’t know what to do. He thought, It’s probably good that they don’t like me, and they have boyfriends, cuz I can’t decide between them. If I could go out with both of them, I would.

After Tay left the room and shut the door, both Renee and Ali sat up, and looked at each other, grinning. They had been awake that whole time, and could hear (*and taste! Sorry!) everything that was going on.

"I can’t believe what just happened!" Renee exclaimed.

"Now we know that he likes both of us, and couldn’t pick between us, even though we kinda knew that all along!" Ali said.

"Yeah, he’s sooo dreamy!" Renee said pretending to faint, Ali laughing at her.

Outside of the room, Tay had heard some moving around in there when he left so he put his ear up to the door. He had heard everything, and smiled. He moved closer to the door to hear more when all of a sudden, his weight made the door open, and he fell onto the ground right in front of Ali and Renee. They looked down at him, with weird looks on their faces, and it was silent for a while.

"Uh, sorry," he said, his face turning red. He got up and ran out of the room shutting the door behind him. The girls just looked at each other and started giggling.

Taylor ran into the bathroom, shut the door, and banged his head on the wall.

"God, I’m so stupid!" he said to himself.

At about 5:00 the girls got fully up, took their showers, and got changed. Renee was wearing a Green Day shirt with a white long sleeved shirt underneath it, JnCo’s, a Green Day skater (* or SK8ER) cap, her ball-chained necklace, and her Vans. Ali changed into a Got Milk? T-shirt w/ a white long sleeved shirt underneath it, khaki cargo shorts, her ball chained necklace, and Doc Martin sandals. She also was wearing a skater cap. When they were finished getting ready, they went downstairs to find Ike, Tay, and Zac sitting on the couch watching the big screen TV that the adults had (*no fair! LOL)

"Hey!" Ali said flopping on the couch beside Zac. Renee sat down on the couch next to Isaac and stole the remote control from him.

"Thanks," she grinned.

"Hey!" he said not really minding at all.

Then, she changed it to MTV and it was ‘MMMBop’.

"Cool, we get to see the video!" Renee said sitting the remote down.

After a couple seconds of just quietness, Zac said, "Look at that pretty girl! Wait a minute, that’s me!"

"Zaacc!" Ali said shoving him playfully.

"This is awesome!" Ali said as her and Renee started singing along with it. Tay, Ike, and Zac were just silent listening to the girl’s (*not their own! Renee’s and Ali’s! Hanson does not and never will look ro sound like girls!) beautiful voices.

Then, Renee got up and turned the Surround Sound on, so it made the music twice as loud (* Surround sound just makes the volume louder w/ bass) and Renee and Ali sang louder, and started dancing along to it. Zac joined them, and soon Ike and Tay did too thinking that Renee, Ali, and Zac were weird, but funny.
