I'm glad you asked.
Well the first place to start would be to explain what the 'Good News Week' in the title refers to. Good News Week is an Australian Television program, formerly on the ABC now on Channel Ten. It is hosted by Paul McDermott[previously of the Doug Anthony Allstars, author of MOSH] and loosely follows a 'game show' format based on current news items of the past week. Two teams, one led by Mikey Robins, the other by Julie McCrossin, battle for the honour of top marks in each game [there are no prizes]. Political satire is the main focus. So now you know what the Good News Week stands for, what does that mean about chat?
Good News Week[GNW] chat is for followers of the television program, and also the Doug Anthony Allstars [an Australian Comedy group comprising of Paul McDermott, Tim Ferguson and Richard Fidler. Also known as DAAS]. It would be easy to leave it there, unfortunately it doesn't fully explain what GNW chat is all about. there is rarely a set topic, and people discuss anything from the television program, and DAAS, to the state of weather about various world locations. In short, there is no easy way to describe what happens in GNW chat, the easiest way to find out is to come in and find out for yourselves. Hope to see you there.
