Moeswch, gedyrn, yn ddilysiant,
Nerth i'r Arglwydd, a gogoniant;
Ym mhrydferthwch ei sancteiddrwydd,
Cyd-adolwch oll yr Arglwydd.
Ar y dyfroedd fry marchoga,
Duw'r gogoniant a darana;
Prydferth yw ei lef a grymmus,
Dryllia gedrwydd
mawr Libanus:
Pār i hwn, a Sirion lammu,
Ac i anial Cades grynu;
Fflammau tān ei lef wasgara,
A'r anialwch a ddychryna.
Llef yr Arglwydd rwyga'r deri,
Coedydd cryfion mae'n dinoethi;
Yn ei demel pawb a draethant
Nerth ei fraich
a'i fawr ogoniant.
Ar lifeiriaint saif yn Llywydd,
Brenin ydyw yn dragywydd;
Nerth, yn gymmorth cyfamserol,
A thangnefedd rydd i'w bobol.
Casgliad o Salmau a Hymnau (Daniel Rees) 1831
[Mesur: 8888] |
Give, ye firm ones, unfailingly,
Strength to the Lord, and glory;
In the beauty of his holiness,
Worship ye all together the Lord.
On the waters above he rides,
The God of glory thunders;
Beautful is his cry and strong,
It shatters the great
cedars of Lebanon:
He causes this, and Sirion to leap,
And the desert of Kadesh to tremble;
The flames of fire of his voice scatter,
And the wilderness is terrified.
The cry of the Lord rends the oaks,
Strong woods he denudes;
In his temple all shall expound
The strength of his arm
and his great glory.
On floods he stands as Governor,
A King he is eternity;
Strength, timely help,
And peace he gives to his people.
