Angylion glân, sy'n gwylio'n gylch
  Oddeutu'i orsedd wen,
Gosgorddion ei lywodraeth gref,

Hardd lu'r merthyri, sydd uwchlaw

 llafar glod ac uchel lef

Yn uchaf oll bo enw'r hwn

Let the dear name of Jesus be lifted up
  By saints beneath the sky,
And all you innumerable hosts of heaven,
  Crown him above all.

Holy angels, who are watching all around
  Above the white throne,
You guardians of his strong government,

Beautiful host of martyrs, who are beyond
  Persecution, terror and reviling,
With a voice of praise and a loud shout

All you prophets who now behold
  The great Surety without a veil,
