Dy wyrthiau a'th nerth
O mor hynod yw!
Gogoniant a harddwch

A phob peth a greaist
sy'n rhyfedd i gyd.
Peraist i'r g'leuni

Tonau [10.10.11.11]: |
and his Providence in the work of creation)
I will declare thy praise,
O Lord my God,
Thy wonders and thy might
O how remarkable they are!
Glory and beauty
are to be seen throughout the world,
And every thing thou didst create
is altogether wonderful.
Thou didst cause the light
to shine across the sky,
And thou didst spread the heavens
around like a curtain.
The stars and the planets
and the vast blue firmament
Are declaring throughout the worlds
thy majesty and thy work.
The throne of God is
in the vault of heaven,
In the thunders
his call is to be heard,
In mist and clouds
his course is to be seen,
Walking superbly
on the wings of the wind.
Glory to the Father
who created the world,
Glory to the Son
who redeemed us at such a cost;
Glory to the Holy,
Sacred, unfailing Spirit;
To the Three in One Substance
O let us give praise for ever.

(Processional)
I will declare thy praise,
O Lord my God,
Thy wonders and thy might
which are remarkable in kind;
Thy glory and thy beauty
which are seen throughout the world,
And everything thou createdst
which is altogether wonderful.
Light from afar
which thou gavest overhead,
And chieftain of heaven
from a compass like a canopy,
The stars and the planets
and the blue sky, extensive
Which declare throughout the worlds
thy greatness and thy work.
The throne of God is
the firmament of heaven,
In thunders and din
his shout is heard,
In vapour and clouds
his course is to be seen
Travelling suberbly
on a wing of the wind.
Glory to the Father
who created the world,
Glory to the Son
who redeemed us at such cost,
Glory to the Spirit
who purifies us unfailingly:
To the Trinity in unity
let us render praise forever.

My soul, Praise the Lord,
speak good of his Name
O Lord our great God,
how dost thou appear!
So passing in glory,
that great is thy fame,
Honour and Majesty
in thee shine most clear.
With light as a robe
thou hast thyself clad,
Whereby all the earth
thy greatness may see:
The heav'ns in such sort
thou also hast spread,
That they to a curtain
comparèd may be.
His chamber-beams lie
in the clouds full sure,
Which as his chariots
are made him to bear:
And there with much swiftness
his course doth endure,
Upon the wings riding
of winds in the air.
