Yn ddiogel yn nghysgod
fy Arglwydd o hyd,
Y llecha fy enaid
yn stormydd y byd:
Yn flin, a lluddedig,
yn euog, yn wan,
Fy nghraig a fy Mhrynwr,
fy Nuw yw fy rhan.
Diogel o hyd, diogel o hyd,
Yn nghysgod y graig
'rwyf yn ddiogel o hyd.
Yn nghanol helbulon
a thrallod y byd,
Yn nghanol fy holl
demtasiynau i gyd:
Yn nghanol ystormydd
ar dir ac ar fôr,
'Rwy'n ddiogel bob amser
yn nghysgod fy Iôr.
Yn nghanol gelynion
a rhyfel 'rwy'n byw,
Mor hyfryd yw dianc
am nodded fy Nuw:
Pan gura trallodion
fel tonau yr aig,
Mor hyfryd yw llechu
yn nghysgod y graig.

Tôn [11.11.11.11+4.4.11]: Hiding in Thee |
Safe in the shadow
of my Lord always,
My soul hides in the storms
of the world:
Wearied, and exhausted,
guilty and weak,
My rock and my Redeemer,
my God is my portion.
Safe always, safe always,
In the shadow of the rock
I am safe always.
In the midst of the troubles
and tribulations of the world,
In the midst of all
my temptations all together:
In the midst of storms
on land and on sea,
I am safe every time
in the shadow of my Master.
In the midst of enemies
and war I am living,
How lovely it is to escape
for the refuge of my God:
When tribulations strike
like the waves of the ocean,
How lovely it is to hide
in the shadow of the rock.

Oh, safe to the Rock
that is higher than I,
My soul in its conflicts
and sorrows would fly,
So sinful, so weary,
Thine, Thine would I be,
Thou blest Rock of Ages,
I'm hiding in Thee.
Hiding in Thee, hiding in Thee,
Thou blest Rock of Ages,
I'm hiding in Thee.
In the calm of the noontide,
in sorrow's lone hour,
In times when temptation
casts o'er me its power;
In the tempests of life,
on its wide, heaving sea,
Thou blest Rock of Ages,
I'm hiding in Thee.
How oft in the conflict,
when pressed by the foe,
I have fled to my Refuge
and breathed out my woe,
How often, when trials
like sea-billows roll,
Have I hidden in Thee,
O Thou Rock of my soul.
