Ymlaen! ymlaen! chwi filwyr Duw!
O'ch blaen mae'r fuddugoliaeth wiw;
  Cewch ddwyn eich palmwydd yn eich law,
  A gwisgo'r hyfryd goron draw,
  A bloeddio concwest
      ddydd a ddaw,
    Yn nheyrnas nef.

Ymlaen, ymlaen! chwi filwyr Christ,
I newid gwedd ein daear drist;
  Gan ddisgwyl am oleuni mawr
  Jerwsalem yn dod i lawr,
  A'r byd yn rhodio yn ei gwawr,
    I deyrnas nef.

Cawn uno yno â'r dedwydd lu
Sy'n canu am gariad Iesu cu;
  Ni ganwn am ei gariad drud,
  Pan ferwo'r môr, pan losgo'r byd;
  A hyd fydd sain
        y gân i gyd -
    Ei gariad Ef.

Forward, forward, you soldiers of God!
In front of you is worthy victory;
  You will take your palms in your hand,
  And wear the lovely crown yonder,
  And shout the conquest
      of the day to come,
    In the kingdom of heaven.

Forward, forward, you soldiers of Christ!
To change the face of our sad earth;
  While waiting for the great light
  Of Jerusalem to come down,
  And the world to walk in its dawn
    To the kingdom of heaven.

Let us join there with the happy host
Who are singing of the love of dear Jesus;
  We will sing of his costly love,
  When the sea boils, when the world burns;
  And this will be the sound
      of all the song -
    His love.

Advance, advance, ye hosts of God,
Unfurl the standard stained with blood:
  Soon shall ye wave the palm on high,
  Soon raise the shout of "Victory,"
  And chaplets wear
      that never die -
    The world is yours!
