Ymdrechwn ymdrech deg

Ymdrechwn ymdrech deg
  Dros athrawiaethau'r Oen;
Gan fyw i wneud y byd yn well
  Ac esmwythau ei boen.

Gwnaer ni fel Mab y Dyn
  Yn addfwyn ym mhob man;
Rhag troi y cloff o lwybrau'r nef,
  Na digalonni'r gwan.

Trwy wadu'n hunain bawb,
  Dangoswn Grist i'r oes:
Caiff ereill trwy ein haberth ni
  Weld aberth well y Groes.

Let us fight a good fight
  For the teachings of the Lamb;
By living to make the world better
  And ease its pain.

Let us be made like the Son of Man
  Gentle in every place;
Lest we turn the lame from heaven's paths,
  Or discourage the weak.

Through all denying ourselves,
  Let us show Christ to the age:
Other may get through our sacrifice
  To see the better sacrifice of the cross.
