Yn ol d'addewid Arglwydd mawr

Yn ol d'addewid Arglwydd mawr,
Danfon yr Ysbryd Glân i lawr;
  A phâr i'w weithrediadau llon,
  I lenwi wyneb daear gron.

Mae'n herfyniadau atat Iôr,
Am dywallt nawr
    o fôr hyd fôr;
  O'r Ysbryd Glan a'i ddwyfol ddawn,
  A'i holl drysorau gwerthfawr iawn.

O Dduw cyflawna'th air i ben,
I roi yr Ysbryd lawr o'r nen;
  I lwyr sancteiddio
      pawb o'r plant,
  Cyn myn'd o'r dyrys
      fyd i bant.

According to thy promise, great Lord,
Send the Holy Spirit down;
  And cause his cheerful activities
  To fill the face of the round earth.

Our petitions are to thee, Master,
For an outpouring now
    from sea as far as sea;
  Of the Holy Spirit and his divine gift,
  And all his very precious treasures.

O God bring thy word to fulfilment,
To give the Holy Spirit down from the sky;
  Completely to sanctify
      all of the children,
  Before they go away from
      the troublesome world.
