Yn berl yng nghoron Iesu
  Dymunaf byth gael bod,
Yn ddisglair mewn gogoniant
  Yn canu iddo glod,
O fewn y bur baradwys,
  Yn uno gyda'r llu,
Yn anthem bêr hyfrydol
  Yr Iawn a Chalfari.

    Yn berl yng nghoron Iesu
      Dymunaf byth gael bod

Yn berl yng nghoron Iesu,
  Rhyfeddol fydd y fraint!
A syllu ar ei Berson
  Yng nghwmni myrdd o saint.
Y goron ddrain a wisgodd,
  Bu farw ar Galfari -
Trwy hyn enillodd goron
  O berl ac aur imi.

O Arglwydd, dysg i'm rodio
  'R hyd canol llwybrau barn;
Fy ngobaith bydded ynot
  Ddiwrnod mawr y farn;
Yn nyfroedd chwerwon angeu
  Fy nghraig fydd Iesu gwiw;
A draw caf wisgo'r goron
  Addawyd im' gan Dduw.

A pearl in the crown of Jesus
  I wish forever to get to be,
Shining in glory
  Singing praise to him,
Within the pure paradise,
  Uniting with the host,
In the sweet delightful anthem
  Of the Atonement and Calvary.

A pearl in the crown of Jesus,
  Wonderful shall be the privilege!
And gazing on his Person
  In the company of a myriad of saints.
The crown of thorns he wore,
  He died on Calvary -
Through this he won the crown
  Of pearl and gold for me.

O Lord, teach me to walk
  Along the middle of judicious paths;
May my hope be in thee
  On the great day of judgment;
In the bitter waters of death
  My rock shall be worthy Jesus;
And yonder I may wear the crown
  Promised to me by God.
