Y'mlaen y'mlaen â teyrnas Iôr
Ym mlaen ym mlaen â teyrnas Ior

(Am helaethiad teyrnas Dduw.
Salm LVIII. 29,31,32.)
Y'mlaen, y'mlaen
    â teyrnas Iôr
  Dros dir a môr o hyd;
Er mwyn Caersalem, adail dêg,
  Caiff anrheg
      cedyrn byd.

O'r Aifft daw pendefigion lu,
  I geisio'r Iesu byw;
Ac Ethiopia'n brysur draw
  A estyn law at Dduw.

Chwychwi deyrnasoedd da'r i gyd,
  I Dduw cyd-genwch glod;
O cenwch, cenwch fawl yn rhwydd
  I Arglwydd pawb sy'n bod.

           - - - - -

Ym mlaen, yn mlaen
    â teyrnas Ior
  Dros dir a môr o hyd;
Er mwyn Caersalem, adail deg,
  Caiff anrheg
      cedyrn byd.

O'r Aifft daw pendefigion lu,
  I geisio'r Arglwydd gwiw;
Ac Ethiopia estyn draw
  Ei dwylaw at ei Duw.

[Mesur: MC 8686]

(About the extension of the kingdom of God.
Psalm 68:29,31,32.)
Onward, onward
    shall the Master's kingdom go
  Across land and sea always;
In order that Jerusalem, a fair building,
  Shall get the gift of
      the strong ones of the world.

From Egypt a host of nobles shall come,
  To seek the living Jesus;
And Ethiopia hurriedly across
  Shall extend a hand to God.

All ye kingdoms of the earth,
  To God sing acclaim together;
O sing ye, sing praise freely
  To the Lord of all who exist.

                - - - - -

Onward, onward
    shall the Master's kingdom go
  Across land and sea always;
In order that Jerusalem, a fair building,
  Shall get the gift of
      the strong ones of the world.

From Egypt shall come a host of nobles,
  To seek the worthy Lord;
And Ethiopia shall stretch out yonder
  Her hands to her God.
