Y sawl a garo'r Arglwydd Iôr

("Ni welodd llygad, ac ni chlywodd clust, ac
ni ddaeth i galon dyn, y pethau a ddarparodd
Duw i'r rhai a'i carant ef." - 1 Cor ii.9.)
Y sawl a garo'r Arglwydd Iôr,
  Gan wneyd ei gynghor beunydd,
A gânt wobrwyon, ddydd a ddaw,
  Mewn gwerth uwchlaw lleferydd.

O'u gwychder llygad nid yw'n dyst, -
  Ni chlywodd clust daearol
Erioed ddarlunio'r pethau mâd
  O fewn y wlad drag'wyddol.

A'u gwnaeth yr Hollalluog yw,
  Anfeidrol Dduw'r mawrhydi;
A gallwn ddeall hyn, yn ddir,
  Eu bod i'w gwir ryfeddu.

Eu bod yn deilwng llwyr yw'n ffydd
  O'i mawr Gyfrannydd dwyfol,
Yr hwn a wnaeth yr haelwen fry
  A'r ser ag sy mor siriol.

Ymdrechwn haeddu, trwy iawn fyw,
  Da bethau Duw'r haelioni;
Ac mae'n wirionedd eithaf llawn
  Byth, byth na chawn ein siomi.

("No eye saw, and no ear heard, and it did
not come to the heart of man, the things God
prepared for those who love him." - 1 Cor 2:9)
Those who love the Sovereign Lord,
  While doing his counsel daily,
Shall get rewards, on a coming day,
  In worth above speech.

Of their brilliance eye is not a witness, -
  Nor heard an earthly ear
Ever the outlining of the worthy things
  Within the eternal land.

He who made them is the Almighty,
  The infinite God of majesty;
And we can understand this, certainly,
  That they are truly to be wondered at.

They are totally worthy of our faith
  From its great divine Contributor,
He who made the bright sun above
  And the stars which are so cheerful.

We strive to merit, through right living,
  The good things of the God of generosity;
And it is an utterly full truth
  That never, ever shall we be disappointed.
