Y mae Duw yn neffro'r gwanwyn

Y mae Duw yn neffro'r gwanwyn,
  Ef yw awdur popeth byw,
A chyhoedda miwsig adar
Yn y coed mai da yw Duw.

    Mae ei Ysbryd yn ymsymud
      Eto dros y cread mawr,
    Bendigedig fyddo'r Arglwydd,
      Haleliwia nef a llawr.

Dwed yr haf â'i fwyn diriondeb
  Am ogoniant mawr yr Iôr,
Mae hyfrydwch yn y mynydd,
  Mae cyfaredd yn y môr.

Gwelir Duw yn lliwiau'r hydref
  Pan aeddfedo'r cnwd a'r grawn,
Mae ei roddion yn y berllan,
Mae ei wyrth mewn sgubor lawn.

Y mae Duw yng ngrym y gaeaf
Pan fo'r storm dros bant a bryn,
Ac fe welir ei ryfeddod
Pan fo'r llawr dan eira gwyn.

Tôn [8787]: Preseli (Joan O Thomas 1927-85)

God is in the awakening of the spring,
He is the Author of everything living,
And the music of the birds in the wood
  Announce that God is good.

    His Spirit is moving
      Still over the great creation,
    Blessed be the Lord,
      Alleluia heaven and earth.

The summer tells with its dear tenderness
About the great glory of the Lord,
There is delight in the mountain,
There is enchantment in the sea.

God is seen in the colours of the autumn
When the crop and the grain mature,
His gifts are in the orchard,
His miracle is in a full barn.

God is the force of the winter
When the storm is over hollow and hill,
And his wonder is to be seen
When the ground with snow be white.
