Wele yma y Jehofa,
  Y Messia, Had y wraig;
Gwreiddyn Jesse, Seilo Juda,
  'Rhwn ysiga ben y ddraig:
    T'wysog heddwch,
  Yn y preseb gwelwch ef!

Holl blant dynion, gorfoleddwch,
  A chydgenwch newydd gān;
Heddyw ganed ichwi Geidwad
  Gwiw, a gaed trwy'r Ysbryd Glān:
    Cenwch iddo,
  Nes datseinio'r nefoedd faith.

See here is the Jehovah,
  The Messiah, the Seed of the woman;
