Trwy rinwedd nefol ras

1,2,3,(4),5.
(Goruchafiaeth Crist ar y gelynion)
  Trwy rinwedd nefol ras
    Rhof glod i'r Iesu glân;
  Gorchfygodd angeu glas,
    Fe'm tynodd i o'r tân:
Archollwyd ef, cadd farwol friw;
Mae etto'n fyw; fy enaid cân.

  Fy nghalon pam nas tŷr
    Yn ddrylliau bob yr awr,
  Wrth wel'd fy Mhrynwr pur
    A'i waed yn llif i'r llawr,
Gan wylo'n daer ar Dduw ei Dad
Am faddeu'n rhad
      fy meiau mawr?

  Rhyfelodd Crist â'r ddraig,
    Trwy angeu dirfawr boen;
  Gorchfygodd Had y wraig;
    I'r orsedd 'r aeth yr Oen:
Dros f'enaid i mae yno'n awr,
F'Eiriolwr mawr, a'm hanwyl Iôn.

  Congcwerodd Iesu'n llyn,
    Ellyllon uffern faith,
  'D oes ynddynt bellach rym,
    I'm rhwystro ar fy nhaith:
Pa'm yr ofnaf mwy?
      anturia'n hŷ',
Trwy ganol llu
      ngelynion llaith.

  Mae'r ffordd yn awr yn rhydd
    I entrych nefoedd wen,
  Gall pob pechadur prudd
   Gael lle o fewn i'r llen:
Mae'r Iesu fry â'i freichiau ar led,
Fy enaid cred: Amen, Amen.

(The dominance of Christ over the enemies)
  Through the virtue of heavenly grace
    I will give praise to holy Jesus;
  He overcame utter death,
    He pulled me out of the fire:
He was wounded, he got a mortal bruise;
Yet he is living; my soul, sing!

  My heart why not break
    In pieces every hour,
  On seeing my pure Redeemer
    And his blood as a flood to the ground,
While weeping intensely to God his Father
For the forgiving freely
      of my great faults?

  Christ battled with the dragon,
    Through death of enormous pain;
  The Seed of the woman overcame;
    To the throne went the Lamb:
For my soul he is there now,
My great Intercessor, and my beloved Lord.

  Jesus conquered thus,
    The demons of vast hell,
  There is no force in them any more,
    To obstruct me on my journey:
Why shall I fear any more?
      I will venture boldly,
Through the centre of a host
      of my deadly enemies.

  The way is now free
    To the vault of the bright heavens,
  Every sad sinner may
    Get a place within the curtain:
Jesus is above with his arms open wide,
My soul, believe: Amen, Amen.
