Rhown heibio gwsg adfywiol iawn,
A chyda'r wawrddydd codi wnawn;
  O! Dad, bydd agos atom ni,
  Wrth ganu'r mawl a haeddi Di.

O! gad i'n cyntaf meddwl fod
Amdanat Ti, gan seinio clod;
  Fel bo i'r Hwn yn sanctaidd sydd
  Ragflaenu gweithrediadau'r dydd.

Encilied twllwch nos yn awr
O flaen y seren ddydd a'r wawr;
  Fel bo i anhrefn nos roi lle
  I rad belydrau
      Haul y Ne'.

Let us put away very reviving sleep
And with the dawn of day let us arise;
  O Father, be near to us,
  As we sing the praise Thou deservest!

O Father, let our first thought be
About Thee, while sounding acclaim;
  Thus may to Him who is holy be
  The preparatory activities of the day.

Let the darkness of night retreat now
Before the star of day and the dawn;
  Thus may the chaos of night be giving way
  To the gracious rays
      of the Sun of heaven.
