Pwy mor hoff ag Iesu Grist,
    mor hawdd i nesu ato?
  Yn ei wyneb annwyl Ef
      ni wel rhai bychain wg;
Onid yw yn galw plant,
    ac yn eu derbyn eto?
  Clyw bob dydd y weddi fach,
     "O! cadw ni rhag drwg."

  Carwn enw'r Iesu!
      Molwn enw'r Iesu!
    Enw penna'r nefoedd,
        enw penna'r llawr,
  Carwn enw'r Iesu!
      Molwn enw'r Iesu!
    Braint yw cael ei garu'n ôl
        am ei gariad mawr.

Pwy mor fwyn ag Iesu Grist,
    mor ymarhous yn eiriol?
  Gostyngedig yw o hyd,
    a thyner iawn ei law:
Cadwn yn ei ymyl Ef,
    a byddwn yn ddihangol,
  Ni raid ofni neb na dim,
    ag Iesu Grist gerllaw.

  Carwn enw'r Iesu, etc.

Pwy mor dda ag Iesu Grist,
    mor barod i fendithio?
  Mae yn meddwl am ei ŵyn
      ar orsedd-fainc y nef;
Pwyswn ninnau ar ei fron
    ac awn yn debyg iddo,
  Gŵyr y byd pwy yw y plant
      fu yn ei freichiau Ef.

  Carwn enw'r Iesu, etc. 

Pwy mor fawr ag Iesu Grist
    mewn cariad ac amynedd?
  Yn ei ŵyneb annwyl Ef
      ni wel rhai bychain wg;
Onid yw yn caru plant,
    a'u caru hyd y diwedd?
  Rhown ein bywyd yn ei law,
      ac nid oes neb a'i dwg.

  Carwn enw'r Iesu, etc.

Who as lovely as Jesus Christ,
    so pleasant to draw near to?
  In His dear face
      not the smallest frown is seen;
Is he not calling children,
    and receiving them still?
  Hearing every day the small prayer,
     "O keep us from evil!"

  Let us love the name of Jesus!
      Let us praise the name of Jesus!
    The chief name of the heavens,
        the chief name of the earth, 
  Let us love the name of Jesus!
      Let us praise the name of Jesus!
    A privilege it is to get to love him back
        for his great love.

Who so gentle as Jesus Christ,
    so longsuffering interceding?
  Humble he is still,
    and very tender his hand:
Let us stay by His side,
    and be safe,
  No need to fear anyone or anything,
    with Jesus Christ at hand.

  Let us love the name of Jesus! etc.

Who so good as Jesus Christ,
    so ready to bless?
  Thinking of his lambs
      on the throne of heaven;
Let us lean on his breast
    and become like him,
  The world knows who are the children
      who were in His arms

  Let us love the name of Jesus! etc.

Who so great as Jesus Christ
    in love and patience?
  In His dear face,
      not the smallest frown is seen;
Does he not love children,
    and love them to the end?
  Let us put our life in his hand,
      and there is none will steal it.
