Pan aeth Duw i fro'r uchelder

Pan aeth Duw i fro'r uchelder,
  Bloedd o groesaw roddai'r nef;
Udgyrn arian
      Gwynfa lawen
  Seinient pan ddyrchafodd Ef:
    Haleluia!
  Seiniwn ninnau'n unfryd oll.

Cenwch fawl i'n Brenin, cenwch,
  Cenwch lafar glod i Dduw;
Cenwch foliant yn ddeallgar,
  Brenin yr holl ddaear yw:
    Haleluia!
  Duw sy Frenin daear gron.

Mae teyrnasoedd byd
      a'i bobloedd
  Dan deyrn-wialen ein Duw ni;
Ar ei orsedd wen mae'n eistedd,
  Gorsedd ei sancteiddiol fri:
    Haleluia!
  Duw yw Llywydd nef a llawr.

Wele'n awr freninoedd daear
  Yn ymgynnull dano 'nghyd,
Oll yn wir Israeliaid iddo;
  Eiddo Duw yw estylch byd;
    Haleluia!
  Dirfawr y dyrcharwyd Ef.

When God went to the region of the height,
  A shout of welcome heaven would give;
The silver trumpets of
      the blessed place of joy
  Sounded when He ascended:
    Hallelujah!
  Let us too all sound with one accord.

Sing ye praise to our Kin, sing ye!
  Sing ye vocal acclaim to God;
Sing ye praise with understanding,
  The King of all the earth he is:
    Hallelujah!
  God is the King of the round earth.

The kingdoms of the world
      and its peoples are
  Under the sceptre of our God;
On his white throne he is seated,
  The throne of his holy renown:
    Hallelujah!
  God is the Governor of heaven and earth.

See now the kings of earth
  Gathering together under him,
All true Israelites to him;
  Belonging to God are the world's shields;
    Hallelujah!
  Enormously is He exalted.
