Pan yn caru ein rhieni,
Caru'n bur drwy ufuddhau;
Pan yn gweini ar drueni
Tlodion trist i'w hesmwythau;
Gwena'n Tad o'r nef yn llawen,
Gwena Iesu, Ceidwad dyn;
Gwenant nes cynhyrfu awen
Moliant drwy y nef ei hun.
Clywch y canu! melus, melus ganu
Engyl glân ar dyner dant;
Maent yn canu,
melus, melus ganu
Mawl i Dduw am gariad plant.
Pan y bydd pob un yn dyner -
Pur ei iaith, a phur ei foes;
Peidio dilyn un drwg arfer,
Cefnu ar bechodau'r oes -
Ni gawn angel yn gydymaith,
Angel Duw i'n gwneud yn well;
Hwnnw erlid ddrygau ymaith -
Cana hwynt i ffwrdd ymhell.
Ymhob gweithred dda gyflawnwn,
Cwmni Iesu'n gyson gawn;
Enw sanctaidd Duw foliannwn,
Pan i'w Air yr ufuddhawn.
Mae cerddoriaeth yn eneidiau
Pawb sy'n byw bywydau glân;
Diangc ymaith wna pechodau
Fyth rhag swynion nefol gân.

Tôn [8787D+cyt): Clywch Y Canu |
When loving our parents,
Loving purely through obeying;
When serving the wretchedness
Of the sad poor to relieve them;
Our Father smiles from heaven joyfully,
Jesus, the Saviour of man, smiles;
They smile until exciting a mood
Of praise throughout heaven itself.
Hear the singing, sweet, sweet singing!
Of holy angels on tender string;
They are singing,
sweetly, sweetly singing
Praise to God for children's love.
When every one is tender -
Pure of speech and pure of morals;
Not following any wicked practice,
Turning his back on the sins of the age -
We may have an angel as a companion,
The angel of God to make us better;
He shall chase evils away -
Sing them far away.
In every good deed we perform,
The company of Jesus we constantly have;
The sacred name of God we shall praise,
When his word we obey.
There is music in the souls
Of all who are living holy lives;
Sins shall escape away
Forever from the charms of heavenly song.
