Pan ddêl dyn yn edifeiriol

(Profiad yr Edifeiriol)
Pan ddêl dyn yn edifeiriol
    O flaen ei Dduw,
Gorphwys ar yr Iawn digonol
    O drefniad Duw;
Dyna'r pryd y tỳr ei gadwyn
Y llewyrcha'r haul melynwyn,
Nes y chwery'n fwyn ei delyn
   Wir fawl i Dduw.

Esgyn wna i'r bryn teimladwy,
    Sef Calfari;
Gwêl yr afon goch dreigladwy
    O Galfari,
Yn ymdroelli trwy'r byd cyfan;
I'w droi yn glau fel eira purlan,
A'i wneyd yn ail i'r nefol Ganaan,
    Trwy rin ei lli.

(The Experience of the Repentant)
When a man comes repentant
    Before his God,
He rests upon the sufficient Satisfaction
    From the plan of God;
That is the time chain is broken
By the radiance of the bright yellow sun,
Until his harp plays pleasantly
    True praise to God.

Ascend he does to the tangible hill,
    That is Calvary;
He sees the red, running river
    Of Calvary,
Meandering throughout the whole world;
To turn it quickly like wholly pure snow,
And make it like to the heavenly Canaan,
    Through the virtue of its flow.
