O Iesu, Frenin Seion fryn,
Enilliast goncwest fawr cyn hyn
  Ar ben Calfaria'r
      goncwest gaed;
  Y llwyr orchgyfaist
      trwy Dy waed.

Trwy rin Dy werthfawr waed Dy hun
Y llwyr orchfygaist
    elyn dyn;
  Y drylliaist farrau
      pyrth y bedd,
  Y gwawriodd gobaith yn Dy wedd.

Pwy sydd yn uchaf yn y nef?
Gwaredwr Seion ydyw Ef;
  Ar Ei oruchel freiniol sedd,
  I mi cyhoedda fythol hedd.

Gorchfygaist eisoes
    fyrdd a mwy
O ddynion cyndyn a Dy glwy;
  O, myn galonnau cyndyn cās,
  I foli eto rym Dy ras.

O Jesus, King of Zion hill,
Thou didst win a great conquest before this
  On the summit of Calvary
      the conquest was got;
  Thou didst completely overcome
      through thy blood.
  
Through the merit of Thy own precious blood
Thou didst completely overcome
    the enemy of man;
  Thou didst shatter the bars
      of the gates of the grave,
  Hope dawned in Thy face.

Who is the highest in heaven?
The Deliverer of Zion is He;
  On His supreme royal throne,
  To me publish eternal peace.

Thou hast already overcome
    a myriad and more
Of stubborn men with Thy wound;
  O, insist that stubborn, hateful hearts,
  Praise again the force of Thy grace.
