O Arglwydd sancteiddia fy mywyd i gyd

O Arglwydd sancteiddia
    fy mywyd i gyd,
Rho nerth i orchfygu
    fy mhechod o hyd:
  Ymddiried yn Iesu
      yn llwyrach drwy fydd,
  A byw i'w was'naethu'n
      ffyddlonach bob dydd.

Rho galon ddiolchgar
    am ddoniau fy Nuw,
Sel dros ei ogoniant
    tra byddwyf fi byw:
  Gwna fi'n edifeiriol
      am bechod o hyd,
  A chadw fi'n nghanol
      treialon y byd.

Rho'th anian yn f'enaid,
    rho nerth nol y dydd,
A chymorth i dynu tua
    chartref drwy ffydd:
  Parodrwydd i'r nefoedd,
      O dyro i mi,
  A gwna fi bob dydd
      yn fwy tebyg i ti.

O Lord, sanctify
    all my life,
Give strength to overcome
    my sins always:
  To trust in Jesus
      more completely through faith,
  And live to serve him
      faithfully every day.

Give a thankful heart
    for my God's gifts,
Zeal for his glory
    while ever I live:
  Make me repentant
      for sin always,
  And keep me in the midst
      of the world's trials.

Put thy nature in my soul,
    give strength after the day,
And help to draw towards
    home through faith:
  Preparedness for heaven,
      O give to me,
  And make me every day
      more like thee.

More holiness give me,
    more strivings within.
More patience in suffering,
    more sorrow for sin.
  More faith in my Saviour,
      more sense of His care.
  More joy in His service,
      more purpose in prayer.

More gratitude give me,
    more trust in the Lord.
More zeal for His glory,
    more hope in His Word.
  More tears for His sorrows,
      more pain at His grief.
  More meekness in trial,
      more praise for relief.

More purity give me,
      more strength to o'ercome,
More freedom from earth-stains,
    more longings for home.
  More fit for the kingdom,
      more useful I'd be,
  More blessèd and holy,
      more, Saviour, like Thee.
