Och finau'n brudd na ddeuai'r dydd

(Hyder)
Och! finau'n brudd, na ddeuai'r dydd
  I fyn'd yn rhydd oddiyma,
Tu hwnt i lygredd brwnt a brad,
  I Ganaan, gwlad Jehofah.

'Rwyf yma o fewn i ergyd saeth,
  Mewn carchar caeth yn fynych;
Pan elwyf unwaith yno i fyw
  Yn nghariad Duw caf edrych.

Caf yno aros gyda'r Oen
  Mewn gwledd ddiboen yn para;
Caf euraidd goron yn ddi-os,
  Pwy garai aros yma?

Caf euraidd delyn yn fy llaw
  Heb friw na braw i'm blino;
Caf aros fyth
    mewn hyfryd hedd,
  Gwych ydyw'r wledd sydd yno.

Caf fi fod fyth
    uwch nefol len,
  Caf fwyta o Bren y Bywyd;
Caf fod mewn lle o wleddoedd llawn,
  Caf yno gyflawn wynfyd.

Eneidiau gwiw, na ro'wch eich bryd
  Ar ol y gwagfyd yma;
Chwi gewch, pan eloch at eich Ner,
  O'i nefol fêr eich gwala.

O gwyn ei fyd y sawl sy' a'i daith
  I'r etifeddiaeth yma,
Y rhai sydd eisoes wedi cael
  Rhyw gyfran hael o'i manna.

Mae chwant, O Dad, ar f'enaid i
  Fod gyda Thi mewn urddas;
Amen! amen! mi ddweda'n hŷ', -
  Prysura Di dy deyrnas!

(Confidence)
Oh I am sad, that the day should not come
  To God free from here,
Beyond filthy corruption and treachery,
  To Canaan, the land of Jehovah.

I am here within an arrow shot,
  In a captive prison often;
When once I go there to live
  In the love of God I shall get to see.

There I shall get to stay with the Lamb
  In a pain-free feast enduring;
I shall get a golden cross, without doubt,
  Who would love to stay here?

I shall get a golden harp in my hand
  Without wound or terror to grieve me;
I shall get to stay forever
    in delightful peace,
  Brilliant is the feast that is there.

I shall get to be forever
    above a heavenly curtain,
  I shall get to eat from the Tree of Life;
I shall get to be in a place of full feats,
  I shall get there full blessedness.

Worthy souls, set not your mind
  After the vain world here;
Ye shalll get, when ye go to your Master,
  Satisfied by his best heavenly portion.

O blessed are those whose journey is
  To this inheritance,
Those who have already had
  Some share of his manna.

My soul, O Father, has a craving
  To be with thee in honour;
Amen! amen! I say confidently, -
  Hasten thou thy kingdom!
