O rasol Geidwad trwy ei waed ei hun

O! rasol Geidwad, trwy ei waed ei Hun,
Rhoes waredigaeth im' annheilwng un!
"Rhwn gred ynof,"
        medd ein Ceidwad cun,
  "Trag'wyddol fywyd fedd."

    "Yn wir, yn wir meddaf i chwi,"
    "Yn wir, yn wir" - newydd da i ni -
    "Pwy bynag sydd yn credu ynof Fi,
      Trag'wyddol fywyd fedd."

Fy anwireddau roddwyd arno Fe
A'm holl ddyledion dalodd yn fy lle,
"Pob un sy'n credu
        yn Eneiniog Ne',
  Trag'wyddol fywyd fedd."

Er mor annheilwng, nid ŵy'n amheu'i ras,
Pwy bynag ddelo, ni wna'i fwrw'i ma's;
"R hwn sydd yn credu,"
        bloeddier gyda blas -
  "Tra'wyddol fywyd fedd."

O gracious Saviour, through his own blood,
Granted deliverance to an unworthy one!
"He who believes in me,"
        said our dear Saviour,
  "Shall have everlasting life."

    "Truly, truly I say to you,"
    "Truly, truly" - good news to us -
    "Whoever believes in me,
      Shall have everlasting life."

My untruths, were put upon him
And all my debts he paid in my place,
"Everyone who believes
        in the Anointed One of heaven,
  Shall have everlasting life."

Though so unworthy, I doubt not his grace,
Whoever comes, he shall not cast him out;
"He who believes,"
        let it be shouted with gusto -
  "Shall have everlasting life."

Oh, what a Saviour that He died for me!
From condemnation He hath made me free;
"He that believeth on the Son,"
        said He,
  "Hath everlasting life."

    "Verily, verily, I say unto you;
    Verily, verily," message ever new!
    "He that believeth on the Son," 'tis true!
      "Hath everlasting life!"

All my iniquities on Him were laid,
All my indebtedness by Him was paid;
All who believe on Him,
        the Lord hath said,
  "Hath everlasting life."

Though all unworthy, yet I will not doubt;
For him that cometh He will not cast out;
"He that believeth,"
        oh, the good news shout!
  "Hath everlasting life."
